Hayden resident Caleb Cagle kicked off summer with a fleet of inflatable rides hoping to bring fun to northwest Colorado with his new venture.
On Thursday, August 4th, Cagle set up a bouncy castle to entertain children visiting the Hayden Farmers Market. It‘It’s been a busy summer for Cagle, who founded Sassquatch Party Rentals and entertained clients at events such as the Reggae Festival in Craig, a private event in Walden a few weeks ago, the Farmer’s Market in Hayden and a handful of events in Steamboat Springs.
“It’s entertainment. Whatever event you are‘We’ve got something for everyone,” Cagle said. “If you‘If you want to have a BBQ in the backyard and some entertainment, i‘I have the inflatable ax thrower game. I have attractions that bring all kinds of people together, whether it’s a graduation, a birthday party or whatever.”
Sassquatch Party Rentals opened July 18 and features seven attractions including two bouncy castles, a double slide ‘n splash, a 17-foot double water slide, human hamster balls, the Viking ax throwing game and more. He even has an inflatable tent with a nebulizer to make summer get-togethers a little more comfortable.
He said some of the attractions are great additions to a children’s party, but Sassquatch has something for every gathering and attractions for all ages.
“You know, I wear it‘We don’t want to just focus on the boys,” Cagle said. “I think adults like this stuff too. The slip ‘n splash and hamster balls and I have gellyball blasters too. It‘A combination of Nerf guns and paintball where you shoot little biodegradable ammo and hurt (them) much less than paintball. This is fun for many age groups.”
The business idea came about while Cagle, who works part-time as a raft guide, was back home in Tennessee and was discussing ideas for his mother and her business partner, who had just opened a daycare and were looking for something to anchor their grandson. opening ceremony
Cagle told his mother to get a bouncy castle. She replied that she had tried but it was impossible to find anyone or anyone renting them in the area and maybe he should consider starting a business.

Cagle has lived in Steamboat since 2019 and the conversation with his mother has stayed with him.
“I had it in my head and I could do it‘Don’t stop thinking about it,” Cagle said. “I started researching this and discovered there was a trade show in Orlando, Florida, just a few hours’ drive from me.”
So Cagle traveled to Florida to see what the fair had to offer while continuing to think about starting his own business.
“When I got there, I just saw the kind of future that this business offers,” he said. “There are so many different types of bouncy castles and just so many different activities that I feel like I could get involved with. That was a good move.”
And so Sassquatch Party Rentals was born, but Cagle couldn’t shake off his love for northern Colorado and decided to return to Hayden to start his business.
People can contact him through his business‘ Website, SassquatchPartyRentals.comor call 970-896-9399 if interested and he will show up at the event location to set up the attraction.
“It was busy most of the time,” Cagle said. “For the next month, me‘I got some rentals going every weekend.”
