Island, Bay adventure featured in Pure Michigan’s August travel itinerary list

Don’t miss out on summer without booking a last-chance Michigan vacation—even if it’s just an overnight adventure. So many people arrive by the end of August and find that they’ve let the opportunity for a sun-kissed holiday within easy reach of a great beach area slip through their work-crazy fingers. It doesn’t have to be you.

Many tourist attractions throughout Michigan have late summer or early fall deals. Some are resorts near our favorite vacation spots. Others are cities where you can find great downtown restaurants and then drive to a Lake Michigan beach for a summer sunset.

We’re sharing Pure Michigan’s August travel deals recap. This includes savings at iconic locations like the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island and resorts like The Highlands at Harbor Springs. Traverse City also has vacation packages for Grand Traverse Bay fans.
