Her ambitious menu received positive reviews from both judges, although she feared she might not be able to finish the dishes on time. “If Mel does all the work, I’ll be in awe,” John said.

Her appetizer was well received by the judges and was awarded a Winner Winner Cheesy Dinner by John Partridge and Vicky.

However, for the main course, Mel cut well with 15 minutes to go and no pasta sheets were made. Vicky was also wary of the dish, saying that none of the ingredients were to her liking.

Despite the pressure, she managed to get the meal ready, impressing all the judges and managing to change Vicky’s mind about smoked fish. “Well, if I’m wrong, then I’m wrong,” she said, pleasantly surprised by the food.

Meanwhile, Gareth and Cliff also impressed with their menus, but unfortunately the two came under pressure when cooking.
