Business Spotlight: M Force | Racine County Eye

There’s a new brick and mortar store in downtown Racine that takes its name seriously. M Force is an innovative company that has actually been around for five years, but has recently expanded its range of services to include office, meeting and event space. With a large pool of connections and expertise, M Force is definitely a force to be reckoned with and able to cater for almost any need a small business might have.

Entrepreneur Toshya O’Geese-Manning is the driving force behind the brand. With her expertise, Manning optimizes your business goals and takes your company to the next level.

A self-made businesswoman and mother, Manning gained her business and marketing experience at Gateway Technical College, as well as hands-on—working in the real world for a variety of companies.

With the help of her mentor, Manning was able to identify businesses’ need for community support. The owner says, “I’ve just decided, why not make a business out of it? Why not help small businesses? Do things you don’t have the time or the manpower to do, but the finances to do.”

A set of skills

Manning makes her expertise available to other companies in a number of areas. Office administration support is a specialty that M Force offers.

Whether you are establishing your online presence or ordering furnishings for a retail space, M Force offers expertise, connections, a passion for success and wisdom.

Manning also offers event support. No matter the size or type, Manning is well-equipped to assist you with your event planning, from finding the perfect venue, to finalizing all the details, to being present on the day of the event. She’s done everything from wedding coordination to store openings.

Another area that is rarely thought of in the business world is research support. M Force offers research support for a variety of needs. Would you like to write a business plan? Do you need data for a project your company is working on? The sky really is the limit with this all inclusive deal.

Though the company has only been around for a little over five years, it wasn’t until July that Manning was able to put down roots at 416 6th St. and launch a coworking and events space. By launching this location, M Force allows members of the small business community to connect and grow, as well as have a regular place for small businesses to call home.

Coworking space opens up possibilities

With a focus on helping others, M Force serves as a gathering place for businesses, nonprofits and organizations to gather using the new co-working and events space in downtown Racine.

Membership starts at just $30 per month for an individual but does not include conference room access.

Business membership options start at just $125 per month for full use of the facility.

Membership allows access to the facility during regular business hours, which are currently 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Individual, corporate, non-profit and organization memberships are available for those looking to book. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, a meeting room, printing services, and desks (including bar tables and a standing desk for those who prefer to stand).

Host an event at M Force

If you are interested, the M Force location can be rented for private parties, events and meetings at an hourly rate. Arrangements can be made with the owner to host your next affair, be it a work party, a surprise party or even something more involved like a sip ‘n paint event.

“It’s an adaptable co-working space,” shares Manning.

business connections

With a desire to help other businesses, she is dedicated not only to directing your business flow, but also to providing your business or organization with the ability to work more effectively and efficiently.

Despite being a one-woman show, Manning enjoys connecting with other companies and community members. Not only does she serve people in Racine County, Manning also offers her services virtually to people in other areas through connections she has forged throughout her professional career.

“Don’t limit yourself,” she says, “because you never know who you might be associated with.”

Professionally, she has developed a wealth of connections that she has networked with over the years. And because of her many connections, there is practically nothing from her wheelhouse.

“If I can’t help you, trust that and believe that I have enough partners and enough people in my network who can help you,” says Manning. “I know someone locally – or nationally – who can help you. The good thing about my business is that it’s all about empowering and helping each other.”

Join the squad

M Force currently serves a number of clients through its administrative business support services. Manning is now keen to network and be the extra helping hands that other small businesses may need. This now also includes offering young companies a place to call home.

“My number one goal is to help small businesses wherever they’re struggling,” says Manning.
